Dear Dance enthusiast,
Happy New Year! We hope that you had a wonderful Christmas break and are ready to get fit for 2008. We have an exciting line up of classes this spring including the old favourites as well as some new classes and courses to put a spring in your step.
The Dancecenter Winter timetable is ready to view. Drew’s adult Tap and Theatrical Jazz classes are continuing to grow and now we are offering an additional Jazz Tap class on Tuesday's from 6.45pm - 7.45pm in Studio 2.
We are extremely excited to announce Joanna Cansell, who will be returning to teach the next set of Contemporary Dance courses which commence on Monday 21st January and runs until Monday 17th March. Foundation level classes run from 7-8.15p.m. and Intermediate level classes run from 8.15-9.45p.m. in Studio 2 based at 1, Montague Place. Joanna trained at London Contemporary dance school and has danced with Phoenix Dance Company and Henril Oguike dance company as well as working for the education department of Richard Alston Dance Company. She is extremely excited to be teaching again at the dancecenter. There are still a few places left. Please call 01273 704309 to registar.
We are also offering a Theatrical Jazz Master class with Paul Kitson. Our next master class will be Thursday 24th January at 8.00pm - 9.30pm in dance studio 1. Paul comes direct from the West End starring role as Johnny Castle in the aclaimed stage show of Dirty Dancing. Paul has worked with Justin Timberlake, Atomic Kitten, Beyonce and Missy Elliot. His dancing credits also include the Martha Graham Dance Company and he regularly teaches Masterclasses throughout Europe and the UK. To registar please contact the dancecenter.
